Square Enix have decided to release one last teaser before Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII officially hits the shelves tomorrow. The trailer features brief clips of the new combat system but mainly focuses on summons and summoning. As I said the game comes out in North America tomorrow, but as of yet no specific European or Australian release date has been set, other than a very “open” release date of 2008.
With Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII’s release date only a mere three weeks away for US fans, Square Enix have decided to release five new videos showing gameplay footage from the game that’s set for release on PSP on the 25th March. Unfortunately no European or Australian release date has been set, but we’ll keep you informed as soon as a date is set!
Over the past month Square Enix have released five Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Little King videos. For those of you who are unaware of what Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Little King is, it’s a new Crystal Chronicles game that’s been developed as downloadable content for the Wii Shop Channel - meaning that it’ll be purchased using Wii Points. The game itself is, or as far as I’m aware is a game similar to that of Age of Empires in that you have to build up a kingdom, presumabley to fend off other kingdoms.
Below you can see the five videos, in all their glory!
Today LivePlay3 (a French PLAYSTATION 3 fansite) claimed that Square Enix will be exhibiting at this years Games Developers Conference in San Fransico on the 18th-22nd February. I say they claimed this because I couldn’t find anything on the offical GDC website, and LivePlay3 didn’t state a source. According to LivePlay3, Square Enix will be discussing the Fabula Nova Crystallis series at the conference as well as revealing some details on Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII.
To those of you who remember, Square Enix copyrighted the title ‘Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII‘ a while back and it was rumoured that it would be an MMORPG. Apparently this was more than just a rumour, and Haeresis will be an MMORPG for the PLAYSTATION 3! Unfortunately the source isn’t exactly credible, so there’s a high chance that this rumour is just another fake - but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed and waiting for the 18th February.
