A small secret is hidden on the Eidolon Wall, referring to Garnet's actual name. In order to complete the task, you must be on Disc 4, without Garnet or Amarant in your party.

First, if you aren't there already, head to Madain Sari. Go into Eiko's kitchen, and down the stairs, to find Lani. Talk to her until she refers to "Some words in the room next to you". Head into the room beside her, and press X when the exclamation mark (!) appears. Afterwards, head to Eidolon Wall.

You'll notice as soon as you enter, that the camera angle has changed. This is to your advantage. Now, walk to the right, until you hear a noise, and then walk the opposite way, until you hear the same noise, then turn around and walk the other way again. Repeat this process until a message box appears indicating that your health has been restored. Now, go and examine each eidolon painting. Read every message, and then go back to the painting of Ifrit, and a message will be there from someone, indicating Garnets' real name.
