The Armoured Knights

Currently we don't know a lot about Aqua, however we can presume that she is the 'Kairi' of Kingdom Hearts 3. She seems to share a strong bond with Ventus, in a similar way to Sora and Kairi share a strong bond. |
| Ventus |

At first a lot of people speculated on Ventus been Roxas, due to their astonishingly similar looks however we now know that Ventus isn't Roxas, though he may share some kind of bond with him. Towards the end of the Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Trailer we see Ventus getting frozen, at this point Aqua dashes to save him only to be a little too late. This would suggest that Aqua and Ventus are close friends. |
| Terra |

We don't actually see Terra fight during the Final Mix+ trailer, however after seeing Aqua and Ventus get slaughtered Terra's eyes burn a dark yellow. It has been speculated that Terra is a reincarnation of Ansem, due to them having the same colour eyes though at the moment this cannot be confirmed. Terra appears older, and much more responsible than Aqua and Ventus in a similar way to how Riku is with Sora and Kairi. |
Disney Characters
| King Mickey |

King Mickey is shown briefly at the end of the Final Mix+ trailer looking at what looks to be Xemnas' Kingdom Hearts. This would suggest that Kingdom Hearts 3 is set in Sora's lifetime, we also know that King Mickey will have a much bigger role in KH3 than he did in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. |
